China's manganese ore imports further declined in May, reaching a 31 month low of 1.57 million tons, down 533000 tons or 25.4% in the previous month, mainly due to the interruption of covid-19 in major manganese mining and exporting countries.
According to the U.S. Customs administration, China's imports of manganese ore in may also fell by 53.3% year-on-year. In the first five months of this year, China imported 10.6 million tons of manganese ore, a year-on-year decrease of 22%.
