In the first half of the year, China's foreign trade volume increased by 27% year-on-year
In the first half of 2021, China's total foreign trade increased by 27.1% year-on-year to 18.07 trillion yuan (US $2.79 trillion), of which exports increased by 28.1% year-on-year to 9.85 trillion yuan and imports increased by 25.9% year-on-year.
The General Administration of Customs of China (gacc) released a report on July 13. The first two data slowed down, but slightly decreased compared with the growth from January to May.
Another set of data from the General Administration of Customs of China shows that in terms of US dollars, the import and export growth rate is greater, with the former increasing by 38.6% year-on-year and the latter by 36% year-on-year, with a total year-on-year increase of 37.4%.
