Copper and gold mineralization found in projects such as Azlar, Morocco
Altus Strategies, which is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and the Toronto Venture Capital Exchange at the same time, announced that the preliminary exploration of the Azrar, Izoguza and Tata projects it acquired in Morocco found high-grade copper and silver mineralization.
These three projects are located in Anti Atlas in western Morocco. They were and are copper and silver mining areas, with a total area of 252 square kilometers, and are held by Atrian Resources, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Altus. Copper mineralization with a grade of up to 8.37% was found in breccia during the exploration of Izogza project. The mineralization of 3.41% copper and 56 g/t silver is found in the breccia of Azlar project. During the exploration of the Tata Project, 0.24% copper mineralization was found in the sediments.
Steven Poulton, CEO of the company, said that the first exploration results of these three projects were good. At the site, Artus Company found the historic site of manual hard rock mining and carried out mapping. "There may be sedimentary strata controlling and contact zone breccia copper and silver mineralization," he said. At the same time, the company reported that the recently approved exploration of Jafra, Tiddas and Amsa projects is under way, and there are 10 projects with "big prospects" in Morocco. The total area of these 10 projects is 675 square kilometers.
