NBS: China’s Apr coal output up 6%, coke down 1%
For April, China’s total production of raw coal for all applications rose by 6% on year but down 4.5% on month, while coke dipped by 1.3% on year but up 1.4% on month for April, according to the data from the country’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), illustrating the contrast in their market situations.
